Today's run was 15 minutes long. This training program has its own agenda. And that's good right now because I have little of my own besides get moving. Big picture, I want to run 26.2 miles, but day-to-day I haven't got a plan yet. So I'm willing myself to follow a generic plan to get started.
I should have done this run on Monday, according to the plan. But instead I caught a cold. Luckily the schedule is flexible enough that I could push myself back a few days and still do all my running.
I ran 1.34 miles at an 11'13" pace. I ran for 3 minutes in the middle of the run at my "fastest," which amounted to about 9'30" per mile. The idea being to give the Nike+ app info to sculpt my training program moving forward.
*shrugs* I am just happy I felt well enough to get back outside today. Also, the sun is out. This pleases me greatly.
Next run I'll branch out a little more (neighborhood-wise).
