Today's run was supposed to be a long one. But long is relative. It took all of 20 minutes.
Nike+ has a training pattern where you have one long run bookended by two (at least) shorter ones. Since I'm just starting out the runs are short. They will hopefully become more impressive soon!
I underestimated how far I could run in 20 minutes, so my route is a little squirrelly at the end. That's actually really bad for my morale, as you can see by the red line at the end of the run. I kept slowing down because I was almost back at what I considered the finish but I had 5 minutes of running left.
So note to self... always overestimate the distance. Walking from the "finish line" back home won't kill you.
